2番打者は『つなぐ』というイメージである。
巨人の川合選手とか、西武の辻選手とか、まさにぴったりである。
しかし、アメリカで、おそらくサイバーメトリックスによって、『2番打者最強説』が提唱されてから、そのイメージが変わってきている。
ヤンキースの2番はジャッジ。
巨人は開幕時は坂本選手で、今は丸選手。
両者とも強打者である。
おそらく原監督は統計学的な観点からも素晴らしい変更をされたと思う。
なぜならば、データに裏付けられた『2番打者最強説』のところに、今巨人での最強のバッターである丸選手を入れているからである。
その変更は、シーズンが終わった後に『英断』と語り継がれるだろう。

AIの発達によって自分の仕事はどうなるのか？
今のところAIにできなそうなこと。
それは、意思決定。
画像診断のためのAIの技術が進歩して、名医並み、それ以上の確率でにガンを見つけれくれる。
しかし、それが本当にガンと確定するのは人間。
もし、人間が『もう一回撮影してみよう』と考えれば、もう一回撮ることができる。
こと自分の仕事に話を戻す。
ビッグデータ、AIのお陰でこれまで分からなかったことがわかるかもしれない。
それも‘簡単’に。
でも、最後、腹をくくるのは人間。
そんな中、自分ができるようにならなければいけないことは、『使える情報を拾う』『AIを作る』『結果を正確に読み解く』、その結果、判断につなげる。
何も今までと変わらない。
単に、便利になるだけ。
ただし、その便利に気づかない人は大変な世の中になるかもしれない。

よかった点
メーカーで実務を黙々とこなしているとコスト意識、投資効果（リターン）を意識できていなかった。
この本はその当たり前なことを再度思い起こさせてくれる。
提案を通しやすくするための道しるべになる。
もう少し知りたい点
専門的な話は皆無。
システム導入に慣れてる人には当たり前の話をしているのかも。

I watched a TV show whose topic was plastic surgery.
I know that everyone has own opinion on plastic surgery, positive or negative.
Actually, I support the surgery if the person wants to do.
An actress, whose yonger sister is very famous but who is not so much, had a plastic surgery on the TV show.
She disliked her mouth and it caused mental disorder.
The reason was related to her famous sister.
A lot of negative comments on her mouth were provided when it was disclosed that she was a sister of the famous actress.
She could not smile when she had her pictures taken.
So, finally she decided having a plastic surgery.
She was happy after the surgery.
11月15日、初冠雪
I spend almost three years in New Jersey.
This year, I had felt too much cold.
Actually, it was snowy this week.
It was too early!
The weather forecast had told that the cumulative snow would be 2 inches.
So, we were not so much concerned about it.
But, actually, it was more than 6 inches near my house.
I think that is the reason why this snowstorm caused a lot of damages.
I saw a lot of car accidents on the way back to my house.
It was a nightmare.
I don't want to see the scene anymore.
We have to stay at home when the forecast says it will be snowy even if it is one inch.

To study MBA is too challenging for almost all of the business persons.
There are several reasons for it.
The biggest two are cost and time, I think.
If you enter Globis, which is one of most famous graduate school in Japan, it costs $30,000 (300万円) and takes at least 2 years.
So, a lot of persons try to read books for self-learning.
I also did.
But, only it did not work well.
When I watched Youtube, one lesson came up in the list of recommendations.
From then, I watched a lot of videos.
I want to recommend the below video as a first one.

2018 is coming soon!
In Japan, new year eves and new year days are very special.
But in the US, these days are not special days.
I'm just spending time at Starbucks as usual.
If I were in Japan, I would watch '紅白歌合戦', eat '年越し蕎麦' and go to '成田山'.
Next year, I must be in Japan on the day.
I will do all at once!
Before that, I have to enjoy my life in the US.
